International Music Summit, Ibiza 23-25 de Mayo, anuncia sus panelistas & conferenciantes

El Ibiza International Music Summit ha anunciado su alineación de panelistas y conferenciantes más fuerte desde que se fundó hace cinco años. Con representativos de las tecnologías emergentes más excitantes uniéndose a ejecutivos líderes de la industria dance y artistas de renombre mundial, éste promete ser el evento más atractivo y concentrado hasta la fecha.

CONFERENCIANTES CONFIRMADOS PARA EL IMS 2012

Entre los artistas presentes este año se incluyen el legendario productor Nile Rodgers de CHIC y Diplo, quien fue nominado un Grammy. Ambos liderarán las Entrevistas a Artistas en el IMS.

IMS también intentará lograr el record mundial del panel más largo, intentando celebrar un panel de siete horas, con Francois Kevorkian como anfitrión del ‘EL MUNDO SEGÚN FK’, donde utilizará este panel como base para un nuevo libro sobre la escena dance y su historia en la industria.

Kevorkian presentará a invitados incluyendo a Daniel Miller de Mute y a Martyn, pionero del dubstep, además de a Radioslave, para puntuar cada hora con nuevos tópicos.

Además se ha programado una sesión con Above & Beyond que desafiará el modelo de ingresos de Spotify en el Debate Presidencial, mientras que Professor Green hablará con su manager y sello discográfico sobre acuerdos de asociaciones con marcas para su publicidad. Es extraño que un artista hable abiertamente sobre acuerdos publicitarios y Professor Green se centrará especialmente en su relación con Puma.

El DJ líder en Ibiza, Luciano, hablará sobre su alejamiento de los clubs underground de Ibiza para establecer su exitosa residencia en Pacha, y los delegados también escucharán a Paul Oakenfold habar abiertamente sobre sus experiencias en la industria cinematográfica en Hollywood.

La Directora Musical y de Asociaciones de Twitter, Tatiana Simonian, ofrecerá una charla sobre su papel y el de Twitter en el futuro de la música electrónica. Mientras, Eddy Moretti, uno de los propietarios de Vice, hablará sobe el increíble Creators Project (Proyecto de Creadores).

Simon Dunmore, uno de los ejecutivos discográficos más visionarios de la industria revelará su historia y también conoceremos al Equipo de Chase & Status, incluyendo a su manager, agente y director del sello que están detrás de su éxito mundial.

James Burton, fundador de Cream, celebrará 20 años de Cream en el 2012 con una charla en la que hablará de su increíble duración en la industria, dominio global y planes de futuro. Marc De Quervain, Director de Ventas y Marketing de Vue Cinemas, compartirá una plantilla de futuro de la industria de la música en vivo, incluyendo giras de películas, conciertos y documentales con éxito de taquillas en cines. Para el IMS Charla Tecnología veremos a Ted Cohen de Tag Strategic desafiar a los líderes de Twitter, YouTube, Spotify y Foursquare. Finalmente, revisaremos los mercados de India y Australia, y celebraremos “Ibiza: El Año de Cambio” con conferenciantes de Live Nation y MTV.

Cena de Leyendas IMS, presentada por el cofundador del IMS: Pete Tong, estará dedicada a Carl Cox. Cox se convirtió en un artista prominente a finales de los 80s, pinchando en las raves más excitantes del momento y fue el primer DJ estrella de Ibiza desde sus primeros shows en San Antonio, manteniendo su estatus mundial durante los últimos 25 años.

La música electrónica está en una posición de fuerza, así que la temática de este año es Las Conexiones Cuentan, abriendo las puertas a algunas de las grandes asociaciones empresariales de todos los tiempos. IMS announces his 2012's Grand Finale festival Line-Up / May 25th, Dalt Vila, Ibiza

Celebrating their fifth year in operation, team IMS are very proud to be able to unveil the full details for this year’s IMS Grand Finale Festival – an event that’s now considered the opening party for the whole season.

Set in the heart of Ibiza Town and looking over the Balearic Sea, the very special UNESCO world heritage site in Dalt Vila is a place of true beauty, made even more special when you consider that this is the only time of the year the area is used for a contemporary music event.

And what an event it promises to be… Having previously showcased acts and DJ’s such as 2manydjs, Mark Ronson, Buraka Som Sistema and Hercules & Love Affair – as well as the annual host and IMS co-founder Pete Tong – this year’s line-up once again delivers on every level.

With the aim to offer something for everyone, as well as bringing the highest caliber of artists to appeal to true dance music lovers, IMS: 2012 combines the perfect balance of heavyweight legendary names with some of the most exciting acts of today. In the “legends” corner we have two of the very best, with Pete Tong inviting his very good friend Carl Cox to the party – a man who’s done everything possible in his field. From becoming a headline act in the late 80’s for the most exciting rave’s at the time and being the first 'star' DJ of Ibiza from his early shows in San Antonio, Carl Cox has maintained his status for the past 25 years, delivering the most exhilarating techno and house music wherever he goes. An icon. A legend. And his Tuesdays at Space event is now one of the strongest on the island. He is 50 years old in 2012, and deserves the headline billing for such a special event.

Joining Pete and Carl are two of the leading lights in modern dance music, heralded for pushing the genre forward and bringing back some much-needed soul and charisma to clubs in recent years. They also both hold mythical status on the island, with Loco Dice the former Circoloco hotshot turned Cocoon hero and Seth Troxler the new king of DC-10, alongside his good friend and sometime DJ-partner Jamie Jones. With both Dice and Seth being voted in the top 10 of Resident Advisor’s annual DJ pole for the past three years running (Seth was voted #2 and Loco Dice #4 in 2011), you are guaranteed to hear the newest and finest in cutting edge club music.

Not stopping there, IMS always strives to bring forward the best live dance acts and this year is no different with the special Live Performance of Azari & III.
